We are a very active family, and our boys enjoy a wide range of activities including soccer, basketball and hockey. Just to name a few but you will also find us hiking, traveling, biking, and skiing (both downhill and water). |
| Danielle Williams, Co-President & Field Manager [email protected], [email protected] Danielle is a dedicated leader and community builder with 9 years under her belt as a softball player and a deep passion for baseball. As one of the founders of the Slingshots travel baseball team, she combines her love for the game with a commitment to creating a positive, supportive environment for young athletes. Danielle’s enthusiasm, organization, and caring spirit make her an inspiring role model both on and off the field. Her son, David, has played in DLL since he was 6, and her husband Dan has coached for the past 6 years on various teams as well. "We are a baseball family, through and through." |

All my kids have gone through Dexter Little League and we absolutely love this amazing community. Looking forward to serving again this year - let's do it for the kids! |
| Charlie Gagne, Treasurer & Umpire-in-Chief [email protected], [email protected] I have been on the Little League Board since 2003. I have a son and daughter who played during 2003-2006 and I coached both baseball and softball. When my kids stopped playing, I started umpiring and became the Chief Umpire in 2009. I’ve been involved in lots of aspects of the DLL over the years. I had the honor of being the plate umpire for the 2016 State Majors Championship game. |
| Marianne Wendt, Secretary & Scheduling [email protected] My name is Marianne Wendt. I live in Dexter with my husband Dave, daughter Aubrey 9, 2 cats and 2 dogs. I work at Beacon Elementary and love working with kids. I also work at the City of Dexter and Grace Proper in Dexter. I am in my 5th year as a Dexter Girl Scout Leader. I have been a Secretary on various Committees and am currently one for the Dexter Downtown Development Authority. My passion is working in our community! I am excited to be a part of the Board. |
| Kelly Sweeney, Equipment Manager [email protected] This is my first year serving on the board for Dexter Little League and I’m excited to be the equipment manager this year! My daughter Caroline (7) has been playing for DLL for three years, starting in Tball and last year doing machine pitch softball. My husband Andrew has also been a Tball coach for 2 years and we have enjoyed being around this great organization. We moved to Dexter in 2021 and have loved becoming actively involved and supportive of the local organizations and community. I’m excited to become more involved in supporting DLL to continue to be a positive, rewarding experience for all of our athletes. I’m looking forward to an awesome 2025 season! |
| Renee Shelton, Safety Director [email protected] This is my 4th year on the DLL Board as the Safety Director. My family is very active in the softball community in Dexter. My girls are 10 and 12 and have been playing softball for many years. I work as an RN and also have a background in Athletic Training. I love watching young kids learn and grow as athletes and teammates. I have also volunteered as a softball coach for DLL. As my kids have grown, so has their interest and skill playing softball. Currently, they play for Hurricanes Fastpitch. I am excited to continue to be able to use my professional skills to support youth sports in our community. |
| Katy Hepner, Event Coordinator [email protected] |
| Kelsey Banfield, Communications Director [email protected] This is my second year on the DLL Board. My son Jameson, is my motivation for getting involved. He and his teammates inspire me to think BIG about what we can accomplish as a community. Our family is active. My husband, Wes, and I have a son in baseball & soccer, another son in lacrosse & football, a daughter in cheer, and another daughter in soccer 24/7. Plus, my niece, Elliott, plays softball and Aunt KK is her biggest fan. |
