Join a Committee

Dexter Little League is a volunteer run organization and we rely on our families to help make the league successful. You do not need to be a Board member to join a committee. Committees help DLL provide special events and other benefits to our players. Contact [email protected] if you'd like to join.

Volunteer to help run your child's team

Dexter Little League is a volunteer run organization and we rely on our families to help make the league successful. One way to help is by volunteering to help run your child's team. Each team needs volunteers to signup and perform the following roles (this can be done during the registration process):

Manager/Head Coach: Being a manager or coach requires time, patience, and basic knowledge of the game of baseball. You may be required to attend meetings, instructional sessions, or seminars. You will communicate with the parents/guardians of your players to inform them of any schedule changes, rain-outs, and Little League events and activities.

Assistant Coach: Assistant manager at games and practices.

Scorekeeper: Keeping score using GameChanger during games.

Parent Manager: Help the coaching staff with team needs as well as managing GameChanger throughout the season.
