Introducing the 2023-24 Dexter Little League Board!
| Bill Logan, President This is my second year on the DLL board and first as President. I have two boys who will play minors and machine pitch in 2024. This year I am expanding my responsibilities on the DLL board. I am looking forward to learning and contributing to the success and legacy of Dexter Little League. We are a very active family, and our boys enjoy a wide range of activities including soccer, basketball and are currently playing 10U and 8U hockey in Chelsea. Just to name a few but you will also find us hiking, traveling, biking, and skiing (both downhill and water).

| Charlie Gagne, Treasurer and Umpire-in-chief I have been on the Little League Board since 2003. I am now serving in Treasurer’s role for the second time (2003-2007, 2019-present). I have a son and daughter who played during 2003-2006 and I coached both baseball and softball. When my kids stopped playing, I started umpiring and became the Chief Umpire in 2009. I’ve been involved in lots of aspects of the DLL over the years. I had the honor of being the plate umpire for the 2016 State Majors Championship game.

| Renee Shelton, Safety Director This is my third season on the Little League Board. I played many years of softball and I love to watch young kids grow as players and teammates. My girls Ady (8) and Jade (10) participate in the softball program. My professional background is in Athletic Training and I am currently a Registered Nurse. The Safety Director position is a great way to be more involved in my community and support young athletes while also being able to contribute my professional experience to the role.

| Heather Wiese, Fundraising
Hello Dexter Little League family! This is my third year on the DLL board, with many years prior to that as a parent manager and coach’s helper (wife). I am happy to be part of a program that brings the Dexter community together to support our kids on and off the field.
As fundraising chair I'll be at the fields and online asking you to purchase flowers this spring. The flower sale is our largest fundraiser of the year. It's a win-win! You get lovely, quality flowers (to plant, hang or place on your porch) and a portion of the proceeds come back to your DLL program.

This is my first year on the Dexter Little League Board. My two boys started playing at DLL last year and absolutely loved it. I feel privileged to support such a wonderful league and to help to continue its positive impact on our children. Looking forward to a fantastic 2022 season!

| Rick Brandt, Member-at-Large My son and daughter are both graduates of Dexter Little League. I've coached at all levels of softball and baseball for Little League, and have had the honor of coaching the 10U Softball All-Star Team to a District 3 Championship in 2017 (with an appearance in the state Little League tournament in 2017), and the 12U Softball All-Star Team to a District 3 Championship in 2018. I also coached the 10U Baseball team in 2019 and 12U Baseball team in 2021 to a District 3 Championship and state tournament participants. I also founded Huron Valley Baseball Academy with fellow board member Rob Edgcombe to help kids find opportunities to play baseball and softball at all levels. This is my fifth year on the DLL board. |
